Al-Ain International Welfare Trust and Umeed (Hope) Hospital, Murid, Chakwal held a free eye and medical camp in Tando Koi, District Swabi, on 12 October 2025. The camp brought specialist care to communities that have little access to it.

The camp was hosted by Haji Javed Iqbal Yousafzai, Trustee of Al-Ain UK, and supervised by Ijaz Ahmed, Manager of Umeed (Hope) Hospital. A team of specialist doctors, female doctors and trained paramedical staff gave consultations and treatment throughout the day.

Around 900 patients were seen. They received free eye examinations, prescription glasses, medicines and general medical consultations, covering both eye care and everyday health needs.

Speaking at the camp, Haji Javed Iqbal Yousafzai said the Trust remains committed to bringing healthcare to families in remote and neglected areas of Pakistan, and thanked our Chairman, Haji Taleh Mehdi, for his leadership. Senior Vice Chairman Syed Asif Ali Hamdani said Umeed (Hope) Hospital has become a source of hope for families in need, and that its service will continue without discrimination.

Haji Shams ur Rehman (UK), Gul Naseer Khan and other community elders attended. Many patients told us they value the camps that Al-Ain and Umeed (Hope) Hospital hold regularly in areas with few medical facilities.

We are grateful to every supporter who made this camp possible.
